De Pere Fall Fest

 

 

FALL FEST De Pere 2010


This event is held on the streets of downtown De Pere, on and near the St. Norbert campus and on the Fox River for a full day of fun, events and music!  Then the "De Pere After Dark" after party will continue at numerous locations within the area in order to encourage visitors to stay overnight.

  • Two stages for music & performances on both sides of the river featuring professional bands, local high schools and community groups
  • Best of the Upper Midwest Rib Cook-Off, including 10 "cookers" - 4 of national prominence and featuring celebrating judges including Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy, Coach Mike McCarthy as well as 8 other "local celebrities".
  • First EVER De Pere on the Fox Venetian Boat Parade with dozens of brightly lit boats cruising the Fox River
  • Fall Fest After Dark events
  • Fashion Show
  • Children's activities in Crevier Commons Kids Area
  • Climbing wall & obstacle course
  • Vendor Booths
  • Business Specials
  • Outside restaurant seating on the streets of the city
  • Health & Wellness Area
  • An entire block of community groups, organizations and non-profits
  • Carnival games
  • Free shuttle transportation to move people back and forth across the 1/4 mile Claude Allouez Bridge.
  • Summer Pass Program drawing will be held


As part of our summer-long anticipation of Fall Fest De Pere, we have created a Summer Pass card to entice shoppers (and buyers!) to De Pere businesses and help our businesses thrive this summer.

Again this year, we will close the streets, re-route the traffic and paint the town!  Last year we had over 5,000 people in downtown between Fall Fest and SNC Day - this year we anticipate 10,000-15,000.

SNC Day is part of the Family Weekend celebration again this year and this year adds Alumni and Reunion weekend as well! www.snc.edu/sncday
